  • How you feel after your session and about the process of recovery lets you know if therapy is right for you. Speak with your surgeon about post-surgical recovery expectations to help you prevent a serious crisis, bring awareness to potential risks and preventing poor outcomes.

  • No. I do not prescribe medication. I can direct you to the appropriate healthcare professional (nutritionist, dietician, physician) who can assess your needs and address appropriate medication prescription.

  • Your plan will be determined following the initial visit after your surgery. Based on your swelling, bruising and surgeon’s post-op guidelines, this plan will be discussed with you, the surgeon and your therapist.

  • At present, cosmetic surgery, not related to cancer treatment or orthopedic conditions are considered aesthetic only. Insurance does not cover the cost; we do not accept insurance for cosmetic surgery therapy.

  • Once you provide your surgery details and surgeon’s contact information, we will connect with your team prior to beginning a treatment program. Your surgeon will have specific protocols which will determine the earliest, safest start date.

  • Clients can choose to undergo treatment in the comfort of their home for the first week. This is for the patient’s convenience, discretion and energy conservation in the first few days after surgery. Treatments can also be planned in the office setting depending on your comfort level, assistance and services needed for your care.

  • When you have a surgical procedure eg. liposuction, facelift, brazilian butt lift, mommy makeovers, etc. there are risks and complications which can occur. I will contact your surgeon to obtain clearance before initiating therapy. If you have unexpected problems during recovery, your surgeon needs to know.

  • Yes. Non-surgery related Manual Lymphatic Drainage sessions are available as 3 (60 min) or 6 (60 min) session packages. A basic form is required to review your past medical history.
